Singing is one of my favorite things to do. I have been singing since I was a child, harmonizing with my mom and listening to Psalty tapes in the car. I’ve always been involved in choirs, and absolutely love working with other musicians to create something bigger than myself. I have always loved singing in church, where I got my start, and sharing the hope of God’s love with others through song. In high school, I discovered my love for the stage in musical theater, and saw my classical piano training pay off as I entered the world of classical vocal literature. After college and into graduate school I further realized my enjoyment of singing oratorio and also the in recital setting.
I currently teach voice, sing in various choral groups and recording sessions, and perform any chance I get! Singing is a means of communication and emotional release for me, and I know it is something I will continue to pursue and enjoy the rest of my life. I thank the Lord for the gift of music and for those in my life who continue to support, encourage and inspire me!
